A great big welcome back to our returning Simon Peterson. In Season 1, we talked to a Simon from a timeline where after World War II, West Germany was annexed by France, & East Germany was annexed by Poland. After listening to the wild ride of a timeline where the Western region of Germany was annexed by & somewhat assimilated into France, we couldn't schedule a time to talk about his Germany's Eastern half. Of course, it didn't help that he had been an emergency fill in after our first fiasco trying to talk to an independent Quebec. Well today, he's back. That's right folks, we have a returning guest who has come to tell us the other half of a story where Germany was annexed by its neighbors. So enjoy this International Worker's Day, & tune in to hear the story of an East Germany that was annexed into communist controlled Poland. Was life easier or harder for the German people than it was in Eastern France? Were their revolutions? Was a wall built between the former Germanies? Will our returning guest finally get an answer he can understand as to whether or not West & East Germany were actually fully sovereign countries? Tune in to find out. ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy [https://acast.com/privacy] for more information.

Episode 2x04 - One Man

In today's episode, as part of a Public Service Program offered by the Interdimensional Council, we're taking a look at a timeline that is going through some weird shit. It seems that in this timeline, a random man was just thrown into the multiverse without the proper gear & now his timeline, as well as several timelines around it, are suffering from all kinds of crazy things. Millions of different versions of this man are coming home & they are not always getting along or cooperating with the authorities. So if you plan on traveling through the multiverse once our level 5 quarantine is lifted, then please listen to the advice that's given in this episode. ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast. Mini Series Part 3 - Patriotic Wars

In Part 3 of our Miniseries, we pick up from where we left off in 1933 & continue the story to 1946. It's time. We've come to one of, if not the biggest event in the last century. An event that shattered the status quo & completely reordered the world, changing everything forever. World War 2. After you find out how both our Soviet Union & their Imperial Russia got through the Great Depression, we'll see how both of our Russia's got through the second world war. Join me again as we explore this wildly different timeline where Moscow was wiped out by a meteor strike in 1908, the Soviet Revolution failed, & the Tsars are still ruling over Russia. If you haven't heard Parts 1 & 2, I recommend going back & checking them out. ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast. Episode 2x02a - Cascadia

After yesterday's second failed attempt to talk to a Quebec with a successful referendum to secede from Canada in 1995, we once again find ourselves talking to a last minute replacement guest. Today, staying on the theme of secession, we get a chance to talk to a timeline where the US states of Oregon & Washington seceded from the United States, & became the sovereign nation of South Cascadia. How did they leave? Was there a civil war in the states? Did they negotiate? Did they just walk away? How did they get around the fact that secession is ILLEGAL in the United States? Tune in & find out. WHAT COULD HAVE BEEN IN NO WAY SUPPORTS OR ENDORSES ANY STATE ATTEMPTING TO LEAVE THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. (Even if might be a good idea.) ---------------------------------------- Hosted on Acast. See acast.com/privacy [https://acast.com/privacy] for more information.
