6.Daryl and Oakley's story. How to heal a very complex diagnosis

I got teary eyed again listening to this emotional recount of Oakley's early days, and also so uplifted at hearing his amazing story of how he is slowly recovering against all the odds handed to him at 2 days old. Her energy is infectious and I am deeply humbled listening to their life story. Daryl is a powerhouse of a mother, forging his path with him. You can find her on Instagram at @acornupdates Oakley was born with an imperfect brain, and was on a NG tube, intubated and was having seizures. He isn't fully mobile, is registered blind and non-verbal. This is their wonderful story worth listening to. You don't have to have everything in common in order to gain so much from their experience. 5. Arjola's story: non-verbal to typing sentences

Disclaimer: during this recording, the internet cut out so I had to edit this conversation. The thing is, I was a bit overzealous with the editing, a bit like when you cut your own fringe for the first time and cut too much off, and now you can't go back. So I sound like I'm in a hurry at the start, but I promise I calm down. I have worked with Arjola and Steven for several years and seen tremendous progress. Working with a child for so long has helped me see what can really be achieved, how long it tales, and what it takes, so I can pass that information onto mothers, without relying on theories. They are both bilingual, living in the USA. He had severe eating issues, he could not chew and held food in his cheeks. When I observe him in calls now, he looks neurotypical, plays appropriately for his age and answers my questions by typing on a tablet. We both never knew this was going to happen at the start, and persevered.   This is Arjola's story: Timestamps: 0.54: Symptoms at the start 1.36: Using homeopathy and supplements 3.56 Food issues, could not chew solids, limited diet 10.00 Non-verbal 11.00 Using play to measure progress 17.26 School not helping 18.56 What happens when the mother takes homeopathy and heals 22.00 I thought I was fine 28.00 I used to focus just on speech, because I want speech to come now 29.00 He is now typing advice to his parents

4. Abigail's story: 5 years of healing herself and her son.

This is Abigail's story describing all the things she has learned along the way, in 5 years of healing her son with autism issues. She talks about other therapies, how her own healing impacted her child, and how best to the play the long game. Josh came to my homeopathic team at 6 years old, because he regressed and lost his speech at 18 months old. He had a whole list of issues to be healed.  This is his story, as a child who has made tremendous gains, some came fast and some came slow and steady.  At the centre of his recovery is his mother, with her calm and determined demeanour, who has a lot of advice and experience to share with you. Timestamps: 3.31 Gains on the first prescription 5.23 What she was doing before that first prescription 9.24 Using a homeopathy kit herself for acutes and becoming more confident 13.31 When the parents heal, the child heals. "Your child feeds off of what you're going through." 21.19 "They are paying attention to everything around them." 22.15 "Who's going to take care of my child?" 30.23 What do you say to the mother who is looking for that one thing that's going to do it all? 35.00 "I don't know if this is going to work because he won't take anything by mouth" 38.00 He found changes hard 40.00 One of the things in common, in all the children I work with, who are making the best progress 43.00 Her thoughts on working with Siobhan ( on the team)
