We’re all going on a summer holiday, no more working for a week or twoooo… That’s enough of Cliff, thank you! But it is nearly that time of year, the holibobs are approaching, so Rhianydd and Morgan turn their thoughts this week to the ideal holiday. Will it be a boutique hotel where you can sit by the pool sipping cocktails and listening to your favourite episode of WCITJ (on headphones of course or Morgan will have you kicked out by security)? Or would you prefer culture-filled city break, mooching around museums and art-galleries, tasting local delicacies and pretending to like them? Or how about two-weeks all-inclusive in Ibiza, reliving your clubbing days? Remember, sleeping is cheating! If I Ruled the World

We think everyone would agree that there’s a lot wrong with the world at the moment. And wouldn’t it all be a lot better if you were in charge? Yes you! Think of all the sensible policies you could enact to make the world a happier place! Such as banning the socks and sandals combo. Or bringing back the death penalty for playing jazz in a public place. Or free wine for the over 40s. So this week Morgan and Rhianydd take up their seats in the parliament of Cloud Cuckoo Land and put before the people their Top Three Policies For A Better Britain. Will Morgan introduce compulsory Barbra Streisand Studies to the national curriculum?  Will Rhianydd convert all religious buildings to the worship of Freddie Mercury? Swearing... Is it big? Is it clever?

WARNING... POTTY MOUTH ALERT! Did your mother ever threaten to wash your mouth out with soap and water?  Do you frequently drop the f-bomb, or even (on occasion and only when called for) the c-bomb? Are you team Malcolm Tucker, or team Mary Whitehouse (Google ‘em if you’re under 40!)? What are we effing talking about now? Well, it’s sw*&ring of course! Yes, this week, Morgan and Rhianydd are discussing cussing. Naughty words. Or as Netflix terms it, foul language. Is it big and clever, or is it the sign of a restricted vocabulary? Who knows what we’ll decide, but you can guarantee that we will be turning the airwaves bluer than a very blue thing with this one, so if you’re easily offended or listening with children it’s probably best to Frank Bough and listen to something else. Royalist or Republican?

In an episode we recorded before the most recent gob-smacking revelations about the prince formerly known as Andrew, this week we delve into the age-old question of is it worth having a royal family? Are they fundamentally different to normal mortals, or are they just the same as us but rolled in glitter?  What, if anything, do they contribute to the country and would the whole shebang collapse if we got rid of them? Did old Oliver Cromwell have the right idea when he snipped off King Charlie’s bonce? The peasants are revolting. Yes, they are! And because we’re feeling generous we’ve got a particularly gooey Wenglish Word of the Week, and a couple of rebellious cultural moments.

How Welsh are You?

Do you know all the words to Hen Wlad Fy Nhadau? Have you ever seen Tom Jones live? Have you got a tattoo of your mam’s bara brith recipe? Did you go to school with any of the following?: Kelly Jones Ioan Gruffudd Gareth Bale Michael Sheen Ruth Jones Owain Glyndŵr Merlin God (yes, she is Welsh!) If you answered ‘yes’ to any of the above questions, chances are you’re WELSH, so well done, da iawn, you’re winning at life! Rhianydd and Morgan answered ‘yes’ to all of those questions, so this week we’re maxing out our Welshness to mark Dydd Gwyl Dewi (St David’s Day). We’ll be reminiscing about St David’s Days of yore and considering what unique qualities set the Welsh apart as a nation.  To top it all we’ve got a classic Wenglish Word of the Week, and the usual perfectly chosen cultural moments.
