Today we discussed a CBS story about President Trump’s executive order barring service members from receiving gender affirming care paid for by the military. As former service members, we have a unique perspective on this issue. The military is a place where a bunch of individuals become a cohesive unit with one goal and that is to become the world’s most lethal fighting force. Gender affirming care paid for by the taxpayer doesn’t accomplish that.
