The likelihood of pulling this off was in all probability low but the idea of using drones in a mass attack in the U.S. is truly horrifying. The conflicts in Iran/Israel, Syria, Iraq and Ukraine/Russia have launched us into a new era of commercially available drones, serving as proving grounds for drone warfare innovation. The issue of an ever-growing population of youth that feel lost, isolated, angry at the government, feeling dis-enfranchised and vulnerable have provided a breeding ground for radicalization.
