Joey mowed his lawn last night and found a piece of mulch in his hair when he went to bed. Nancy then peppered him with questions about his showering habits.   Several players on a high school lacrosse team were suspended after posting a picture of them holding cigars. Their moms tried to cover for them, saying the cigars were made of herbs and not the normal ingredients. That story did not work, and the students can’t play in the upcoming championship game.   Hot Tea: Jelly Roll’s daughter posted online and basically told people to mind their own business when it comes to Jelly Roll and Bunnie XO’s divorce. Did the mayor of New York confirm that Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are getting married in New York? McDonald’s is bringing back the fried apple pie!   We did a contest called “My Daddy’s So Country...” where people called in to tell stories about their country dads. The winner got four tickets to Dollywood’s Splash Country for Water Safety Day!  Lucky 7 for $50 to The Diner at Twister’s  We solved the Matt Damon Knoxville mystery! Several bears have been hit by cars on the interstate lately. Joey wondered about who moves the animals and debris out of the roads.   Our listener, Darrin, called to tell us about a dream he had about Nancy. He, Nancy, and Nancy’s husband were at a yard sale at a shipyard and Nancy’s husband had a dancing poodle. There were also people dancing in full winter gear, but it was hot outside.   Nancy got accused of trying to cheat a lady on Facebook Marketplace. She didn’t have enough cash bills, so she gave the seller 4 quarters to cover the last dollar. The seller freaked out and told Nancy that she didn’t have enough bills and that Nancy was trying to scam her!   Hot Tea: Jelly Roll filed for divorce from Bunnie XO. The chair that Taylor Swift sat on for the NBA finals was auctioned off for $7k. A driver with road rage hit someone with a ukelele.   We did a contest called “My Daddy’s So Country...” where people called in to tell stories about their country dads. The winner got four tickets to Dollywood’s Splash Country for Water Safety Day!  Last week, we all challenged each other to watch certain movies. Joey watched Spirit: Stallion of the Cimmaron and said it was boring.  Nancy watched A Cinderella Story and thought it was dumb. Karly watched Field of Dreams and was confused but enjoyed it. She also watched Ace Ventura and HATED it.   Lucky 7 for $50 to The Diner at Twister’s  A woman in Knoxville has found 17 human teeth in her yard. She has talked with police, but they said they wouldn’t investigate further unless other bones were found. She called us to give us all the details! You can see her videos on her TikTok account @maydayshae!  A child was left in a hot car in Knoxville last week. They were taken to the hospital and are expected to make a full recovery, but it’s so scary! Nancy felt validated about her surface-level thinking while at church yesterday. Joey thinks that he finally fixed his crawlspace issues.   Father’s Day is coming up! Karly shopped for cards yesterday. It stressed her out, and she thinks they are dumb. Joey and Nancy agreed.   The UFC fight happened at The White House last night. Zac Brown sang the National Anthem and one of the fighters proposed to his girlfriend.   The last living son of a Civil War veteran died last week. He was 101 years old. His dad was 80 years old when he was born.   Hot Tea: The Knicks won the championship, and fans took to the streets and set stuff on fire. The viral German tourist that is posting about his American experiences got invited to meet Ella Langley at one of her concerts. Rod Stewart canceled one of his concerts due to being sick but posted a video the next day looking perfectly fine on his way to the World Cup. A Florida man crashed his car, carjacked the woman who tried to help him, drove to a Chick-fil-a, and stole a French fry from a child.   We did a contest called “My Daddy’s So Country...” where people called in to tell stories about their country dads. The winner got four tickets to Dollywood’s Splash Country for Water Safety Day!  Joey hates trying on clothes, so he used AI to generate images of himself in different outfits to decide what to wear.   Lucky 7 for $50 to The Diner at Twister’s  Nancy and her family went to the movies over the weekend. Her and her husband were going to see Disclosure Day while her 13-year-old and his friend went to see Scary Movie 6. The movie workers wouldn’t let the kids see the movie without Nancy because it is rated R, so they had to go to Disclosure Day instead. Jiey told Nancy some of the things in Scary Movie 6 that made it rated R and she’s very glad that the workers didn’t let the boys stay in there.   We’re having our first Community Crew event! We’re looking for 20 volunteers to help out at Shangri-La Therapeutic Academy of Riding (STAR) on Saturday, June 27th from 9am to 11am. This is a family-friendly event!
