Women of Inspiration in STEM - Hannah Connolly

Hannah Connolly is a Network Engineer at Waipa Networks, where she has built a career spanning nearly two decades. Beginning as an electrical apprentice, Hannah became a registered electrician before continuing her studies toward a Bachelor in Electrical Engineering. Since joining Waipa Networks in 2007, Hannah has held multiple positions, giving her a deep and practical understanding of the network. In her current role, she works across a wide range of responsibilities, including improving supply quality and modelling the network to ensure reliability and efficiency. Beyond her professional expertise, Hannah lives on a farm with her husband and three children. She enjoys the balance of rural life-spending time outdoors, gardening, and running-bringing the same energy and dedication to her personal passions as she does to her engineering career.
