Cassie and Maggie will be playing a Celtic Christmas concert at The 204 [https://www.facebook.com/the204sisson?__cft__[0]=AZVZcQme2vb18zBRxReAY5TjetAU6XOvciy4Q9dKgJD0KSNWar5sT65UqN93GnMuBhGUnbDeVN-4hRfdoe8b-ZvlsiOOSjg5GbPf08BGYVehqm2FkLQ30nt5RfCG7pDy7LM&__tn__=-]K-R] Harwich Cultural Center on Tuesday December 17th and at the Gallery on Main in Falmouth on December 18th.

One day Farnaz Ohadi got in trouble at school for singing a religious song as home the previous day. Her neighbors had called her school to inform them of her transgression. The school took disciplinary action on the child. Women and girls were forbidden from singing. Her music-loving family took action and moved to Canada where Farnaz studied opera, Persian folk singing, and Flamenco cante. Farnaz's love of music and performance art inspired her to create the collaborative project "Mashregh Ensemble" in 2012, which combine's Persian poetry with Flamenco music. She has several albums and one more on the way, Breath, slated for release in 2025. Today we’re giving you a sneak peak of her forthcoming album.  Today, she calls Sevilla, Spain her home. She travels the world performing in shows blending dance performances and her original Persian Flamenco music.
