This is the 15th episode of our podcast, HistoREAL: Ang Katotohanan sa ating Kasaysayan at Lipunan. For our 15th episode, we will be discussing the need for Philippine history education in the high school level. We will also be discussing the legislative lobbying of the High School Philippine History Movement in the House of Representatives of the Philippine congress. The lobbying advocates for the return of Philippine history in the high school Social Studies curriculum. This episode shall also serve as the season 1 finale of the podcast. Our next episode will happen mid-2022.

We will look into institutional and cultural similarities of its sociopolitical institutions while reviewing its effects on its citizens. The discussion will be centered from the perspective of an English literature teacher and history enthusiast, veteran teacher Mr. Frederick Tomas of the Ateneo de Manila Junior High School.
