Ep. 155 | Testimony for Christ

Ep. 155 | My testimony is not one of blind faith. If anything, it began with skepticism. I didn’t come to Christ because someone told me to. I didn’t accept Christianity simply because I was raised around it or because it was the popular thing to believe. I wanted answers. I wanted truth. And I was willing to follow the evidence wherever it led, even if it led away from Christianity. So I started digging. I studied Scripture. I compared translations like the KJV and NKJV. I explored the Ethiopian Bible and other ancient texts. I researched history, archaeology, alleged contradictions, the original Hebrew and Greek words, and the arguments of both believers and skeptics. I examined the claims of Christianity from every angle I could find. At first, I expected that deeper investigation might weaken my faith. Instead, the opposite happened. The more questions I asked, the more answers I found. The more I examined the Bible, the more I saw its consistency. The more I studied Jesus, the more convinced I became that He was exactly who He claimed to be. What started as an intellectual search became something much deeper. It became personal. I realized that Christianity wasn’t merely a collection of doctrines or traditions. At its center was a real person—Jesus Christ. A man unlike any other in history. The One who fulfilled prophecy, transformed lives, died for sinners, and rose again. The evidence persuaded my mind, but Christ captured my heart. Today, I believe more strongly than ever that Jesus is Lord, that He is God in the flesh, and that the Bible is the trustworthy Word of God. My faith is not the result of avoiding hard questions. It is the result of asking them. The very investigation that I thought might pull me away from Christ became the path that led me directly to Him. I once searched for reasons not to believe. Instead, I found every reason to surrender my life to Jesus Christ.
