Hello one and all, and welcome back to another episode of Trophy Talk! Can you believe it? The time has finally come to talk about Halo: Campaign Evolved, as Master Chief makes his debut on PlayStation. Does Halo: CE now 25 years old still hold up all these years later? How did the change to UE effect the overall look and feel of the game? What are our hopes and dreams for future Halo projects that could come to PlayStation? Well, Josh and Colin cover all of that, and a good deal more as they camp out on Spartan 117 for quite some time. In addition to the Halo conversation, the crew of course takes some time to re-touch on the ongoing analysis of PlayStation's move away from physical disc production in 2028. Is the proposed blackout of the PSN from August 23rd - August 30th the right way to send a message to PlayStation, and make a difference? Or ultimately, are the die already cast as we march inexorably forward towards a digital only future? Only time will tell, but Josh and Colin do have some thoughts on the matter, and suggest ways to maybe alter some of the more popular methods of protest. On top of all of that there is of course a discussion on what event is coming up next for the Discord and when it begins, a Trophy Talk edition of Cactuar vs. Tonberry, Plat Shout Outs, and what we've been playing. Mooglecast, Episode 25 | The Winter DLCember | All About DLCs/Updates/Expansions

Warmest of welcomes everybody, This month on the Moooglecast, Max and Zac are reunited aswell as being joined by a brand new guest, Ryan (RWolvin) from the discord. The guys start with platinum shoutouts including some very rare entries, taken straight out of the discord. Cactuar vs. Tonberry follows with a fresh set of challenges for Max and Zac to contend with, are the boys beginning to to turn up the difficulty slider on eachothers challenges? The Record makes a reappearance this month, highlighting that fan-favourite post apocalyptic series, Fallout! Max kicks off what we have been playing with two months worth of gaming, including some plats and a lot of menial jobs. Ryan's up next with games across a number of genres as he makes the most of his PS Portal. Zac closes off the segment with a remarkably quiet month only speaking on two games but one platinum manages to be completed. The meat and potatoes this month sees the guys talking all about the stuff that gets added to games post launch, DLC, updates and expansions. They talk about some of their favourites, some wishlist ideas and the trophies or lack there of that come with these releases. PS Plus Game Club - Episode 43: Until Dawn

Kevin is joined by Kristen (TheGameDame on Twitch) to talk about Supermassive's first and arguably best “horror movie” game, Until Dawn. This episode covers both the original 2015 PS4 version and the 2024 PS5 remake by Ballistic Moon. They start off by talking about what made this particular game so special when it first released and how it took a niche genre and elevated it. They list off which characters and actors they love, hate, and absolutely love to hate. Then they rank this up against the other Supermassive games like Little Hope and House Of Ashes and recommend which ones you should play or skip. To wrap things up they go through a quick spoiler filled breakdown of the story and both list off which characters had some of the worst deaths in the game. Again, this covers both the original PS4 version and the remake on PS5, and we hope you enjoy this dive back into Until Dawn.

Trophy Talk Podcast - Episode 146: A Ballet of Excellence

Hello one and all, and welcome back to another episode of Trophy Talk! In this month's installment Colin and Josh dig deep into the recent news stories that have been plaguing not only PlayStation, but the gaming industry at large. Indeed, with bad news story, after bad news story, it's hard to feel optimistic about the hobby that we all know and love so much. While there are many available tendrils to pull on here, the boys settle in around the PS3 storefront closure, and the 2028 impending death of physical games on PlayStation. There are so many areas to dig into here, so many reasons to be upset (or not to be upset), that the conversation naturally is a bit all over the place. Regardless, after the dust settles do either of the aforementioned stories actually prompt us to reconsider if Sony and the PlayStation is our gaming home? Of course as per the typical run of the show we also take time to highlight some impressive and noteworthy Platinum's earned by our community, touch on our favorite trophies we've personally earned in the last month, and touch on what we've been playing. Much like Zac (the recordkeeper) before him, Saros has its hooks in Josh and we spend a good deal of time discussing the mechanics of the game and how it reminds us of more recent titles like Doom: The Dark Ages. Additionally, Josh takes some time away from the bullet hell genre to go and kick some ass in Marvel: Cosmic Invasion. It turns out the title may not have received as much praise as it should have! Colin on the other hand, in anticipation of Doom's DLC on July 7th, and Halo: Campaign evolved at month's end, has gone for a more chill trophy hunting experience in 13 Sentinels: Aegis Rim. While the game may not be difficult, it boasts 13 main protagonists and characters, a time traveling Sci-Fi story, and some truly beautiful imagery. Has Colin gone full weeb? Well maybe not full, but after how much he disliked the Survival-Crafting genre after giving Grounded a try, he just had to try something different.
