The *Real* Reason that Things Like That Happen to People Like You

I had a visceral reaction when a friend posted, "Lately I've been replacing my 'why is this happening to me?' with 'what is this trying to teach me?' and everything around me has changed." There's is an inherent flaw in this way of thinking that centers the individual and imbues him/her with an almost magical sense of that "this" isn't suppose to happen to them. But it does because "this" befalls us all and we're not special in that regard. It's that sense of being special that prevents us from seeing reality as it actually is and, ultimately, holds us back.

Most of us are pointed in the wrong direction because we don't have an adequate filter for knowing what works and what doesn't. Becoming your Best 'Self"

Living our best lives means becoming our best "selves". And that doesn't happen automatically--we have to work at it. The work, the labor is what is transformative. It's labor that gives birth to our new life. The Law of Attraction is no about hoping and waiting, it's about becoming a co-creator in your own destiny.

You don't need Inter-dimensional beings to manifest your dreams

Science is hard, but you don't need to rely on Abraham, Ramtha, or any other interdimensional spirit to explain how the Law of Attraction works because it's in accordance to how nature already works. The authority that comes from these "beings" subverts the primary question that we should be asking, "Who should I trust?" Once we've figured that out (cf. Episode 10), it's clear that these beings are simply not necessary and are a distraction.
