Wrestle Chop: WWE Wrestling Podcast
Je'Von Evans proved once again on Monday Night Raw that he belongs on WWE's biggest stage. His performance in the Gauntlet Match was outstanding, and I don't have a problem with him losing to Rusev. My problem is much bigger than one loss. WWE keeps putting Je'Von Evans in high-profile matches without giving him an actual story. Every week he gets another opportunity to impress, but where's the character development? Where are the rivalries? Where's the reason for fans to become emotionally invested? Great matches alone aren't enough to create the next main event star. We've seen this happen before. WWE came close to making Bron Breakker feel unstoppable, only to cool him off by constantly bringing him to the edge before pulling him back. I don't want to see Je'Von Evans follow that same path. I don't care how young he is—if WWE believes he's one of the future faces of the company, then start treating him like it. Give him meaningful wins, compelling storylines, and let fans invest in him beyond his incredible athletic ability. Do you agree, or am I overreacting? Should WWE push Je'Von Evans harder, or is this the right way to build him?
