Yes, the match was good. Yes, Trick winning was the right call. But this felt like a rivalry WWE should’ve been building for months instead of throwing onto SmackDown with distractions and interference attached to it. The entire show honestly felt like WWE trying to cram too much into one episode. Cody Rhodes and Sami Zayn delivered in the main event while Gunther continued looming over the title picture, and the women’s division kept moving fast with Tiffany Stratton, Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, Jade Cargill and more all colliding at once. But the biggest talking point for me is still Trick and Melo because that matchup has HISTORY. NXT built them as brothers, rivals, and future stars, and WWE treated it like just another TV match instead of a major storyline chapter. The worst part is the finish didn’t even let the match fully breathe. Ricky Saints got involved, distractions happened, and it felt more focused on continuing side stories than actually making Trick Williams vs Carmelo Hayes feel special. WWE had a potential premium live event level feud sitting right there, and instead it came off like filler on a go-home SmackDown. Great wrestlers. Great chemistry. Wrong place, wrong timing. episode Roman Reigns Got Outsmarted?! cover

Roman Reigns Got Outsmarted?!

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2529433/fan_mail/new] Roman Reigns walked into WWE Raw thinking the Tribal Combat contract signing would remind everybody why he’s still the Tribal Chief, but Jacob Fatu completely flipped the situation before Clash in Italy. Instead of losing control like Roman expected, Fatu stayed calculated the entire segment and forced Roman to play defense mentally. Roman kept trying to talk down to him like he was still beneath him in The Bloodline, but Jacob made it clear this isn’t about respect anymore — it’s about taking everything Roman built. What made the segment work is that Jacob Fatu didn’t just intimidate Roman physically, he outsmarted him. Roman spent most of the confrontation emotional and frustrated while Jacob looked calm, confident, and fully prepared for Tribal Combat. WWE has slowly turned Fatu into the most dangerous threat Roman has faced in years because he understands Roman better than almost anybody. Every week, Jacob keeps baiting Roman into reacting emotionally instead of strategically, and that’s making the Tribal Chief look vulnerable for the first time in a long time. Raw also loaded up the final build for Clash in Italy with LA Knight making his return and announcing himself for the King of the Ring tournament, Oba Femi threatening Paul Heyman and promising to destroy Brock Lesnar, Seth Rollins defeating Montez Ford in a hard-hitting match, and Penta retaining the Intercontinental Championship against Je’Von Evans. WWE also confirmed Logan Paul suffered a torn triceps injury that could keep him out for months, while Austin Theory brutally attacked Joe Hendry to continue the chaos surrounding The Vision storyline. This episode honestly felt less like a normal go-home Raw and more like WWE setting the stage for a massive shift heading into the summer. Roman Reigns vs Jacob Fatu doesn’t feel like a typical Bloodline match anymore — it feels like the moment Roman finally realizes somebody from his own family may actually be smarter, more dangerous, and ready to replace him. #WWE #WWERaw #RomanReigns #JacobFatu #thebloodline  For business related inquiries contact me at:  wrestlechop@outlook.com Support the show [https://patreon.com/WrestleChop]

WWE Fanboy Gives AEW a Chance…Double Or Nothing Review

Double or Nothing absolutely delivered. The crowd was insane, the matches felt unpredictable, and the in-ring wrestling was on another level. Takeshita vs Okada was unreal, Ospreay continues to be ridiculous, and the ending had me genuinely shocked. As a WWE fanboy, I expected to nitpick everything… but AEW cooked last night. This review is all my honest reactions, hot takes, and what surprised me most about the show. Did AEW actually put on a better PPV than WWE lately? Watch and find out. #AEW #DoubleOrNothing #WWE #AEWReview #Wrestling For business related inquiries contact me at:  wrestlechop@outlook.com Support the show [https://patreon.com/WrestleChop]

episode WWE Needed More From SNME cover

WWE Needed More From SNME

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2529433/fan_mail/new] Saturday Night’s Main Event had some huge moments, but the overall show felt all over the place. Some matches delivered, some dragged, and a few booking decisions left fans wondering what WWE was even trying to do. In this video, I break down the entire card match-by-match, talk about the best and worst moments of the night, and answer the big question: was this show actually good… or just MID? From Montez Ford nearly taking Logan Paul’s head off with that insane dropkick to the crowd reactions, surprises, pacing issues, and storyline progression, there’s a lot to unpack from this event. WWE clearly wanted this show to feel important, but did it actually live up to the hype? I give my honest thoughts on every match, who stood out, who didn’t, and what this means going forward. Some stars absolutely showed out, while others felt completely wasted. Whether you loved the show or thought it missed the mark, this review covers everything from the opening match to the ending. Drop your own ratings in the comments and let me know if Saturday Night’s Main Event delivered for you. #WWE #SaturdayNightsMainEvent #SMNE #WWEReview #Wrestling For business related inquiries contact me at:  wrestlechop@outlook.com Support the show [https://patreon.com/WrestleChop]

episode SNME: Was It Worth Watching? cover

SNME: Was It Worth Watching?

Send us Fan Mail [https://www.buzzsprout.com/2529433/fan_mail/new] Saturday Night’s Main Event was one of those WWE specials that wasn’t bad at all, but also didn’t feel essential by the end of the night. The wrestling itself was mostly solid, the crowd stayed into the show, and there were a few standout moments, but nothing really felt game-changing. It honestly came across like a filler event between bigger storylines instead of a show that people are going to remember months from now. WWE clearly focused more on building toward future matches instead of making this feel like a huge event, and that really showed throughout the night. The opening six-woman tag match with Jade Cargill, Michin, and B-FAB vs. Rhea Ripley, Charlotte Flair, and Alexa Bliss brought a lot of energy and gave the crowd a fun start to the show. Jade getting the pin on Rhea was probably the biggest takeaway from the match. Brie Bella and Paige defending the Women’s Tag Team Titles against Lash Legend and Nia Jax was decent, but it never really reached another level emotionally. Becky Lynch vs. Sol Ruca had some smooth moments and athletic counters, but the disqualification finish completely hurt the momentum and made the match feel more like setup than payoff. The World Tag Team Championship match between The Vision and The Street Profits had good action, but the interference-heavy ending made it feel overly complicated. Penta vs. Ethan Page was probably the best straight-up wrestling match on the entire card. Ethan Page looked great in defeat, and Penta continuing to build momentum was one of the few things on the show that actually felt important. Overall, the event was solid enough to sit through, but nothing about it screamed “must-watch.” It felt more like an extended episode of weekly TV than a memorable WWE special. #SNME #WWESNME #WWE #Penta #solruca For business related inquiries contact me at:  wrestlechop@outlook.com Support the show [https://patreon.com/WrestleChop]
