Laura Schmitt becomes new Head of Marketing at Podimo Germany

Marc Poppcke moves up to Content Operations Lead

Berlin - 11 March, 2024 - Laura Schmitt has been appointed Head of Marketing at Podimo with immediate effect. She succeeds Constanze Bolsch Candeias, who has left the company at her own request. In her new role, Laura Schmitt will report to Friedhelm Tauber, Managing Director of Podimo Germany. Before joining Podimo in July 2022 as Partnerships Manager, she worked for Funke Mediengruppe.

Friedhelm Tauber, Managing Director of Podimo Germany, commented on the appointment: "I am delighted that we have been able to recruit Laura for this position. With her experience in the company, she knows the challenges of the industry well. I was particularly impressed by her goal-oriented implementation of current projects and her analytical thinking. Parallel to this announcement, Marc Poppcke was promoted on February 1. He takes over the position of Content Operations Lead and reports to the Head of Content, Alexandra Löwenstein.

Marc Poppcke has been with Podimo since July 2021 and brings extensive experience from his previous role in Audible's Content Operations team.
