Podimo is seeking a Senior Product Designer who is passionate about crafting simple user experiences that solve complex problems in the podcast- and audiobook space. The ideal candidate is a creative and positive go-getter, with relevant experience, and excellent analytical and communication skills. In this role, you will own large design projects and work cross-functionally to deliver high-quality designs.
As we’re continuing our journey towards becoming the best bite-sized audio platform in the world, we need more manpower in the design department. We know the value of great user experiences and amazing design and want to invest further into this area to keep our products top of the line. This is where you enter the picture! We’re looking for a Senior Product / UI / UX designer, or whatever you want to call yourself. As long as you have a burning passion for design, a great track record, and you love collaborating with talented people, then you’ll fit right in.
Your daily life will consist of shaping our listeners’ and creators’ experiences across our services, from validating hypotheses and first concepts to final shipped features. You’ll be working closely with our UX research-, product-, and development teams on a daily basis. Furthermore, you’ll probably meet with teams from other departments on a bi-weekly basis so you always have a holistic overview of the business goals and user behavior across the funnels and channels.
You will help bring ideas from conception to release while advocating for clean and understandable solutions along the whole journey. You are an effective diplomat with strong communication and organizational skills. You are patient, understanding, ego-free, and eager to give and receive constructive feedback.
Expected start date: 1st of August, 2021 - We’re flexible.
