Meet Washington, DC based, “Alternative Hip Hop/Soul Duo”, ALorious. A soulful vocalist, a hard hitting lyricist mixed with an infusion of eclectic, superseding content and a universal message. Gives you a sound you haven’t quite heard before. ALorious sets themselves apart from any other type of artists in the industry by not only being uniquely matched with an impeccable chemistry, but also not being afraid to look and sound different. Their debut album “TEMPORARILY DISCONNECTED” will be released July 2009 in conjunction with that they have decided to embark on a promotional tour, “PAST DUE, Temporarily Disconnected the Promotional Tour”, June 11 - July 18, 2009. Throughout 2008-2009, ALorious performed live for more than 120 shows, Including the TV One Pilot "The Last 1 Standing" hosted by Tommy Ford, a charity benefit concert “Hip Hop for the Homeless”, “The Mental Graffiti Concert Series”, “The Uptown Hip Hip Underground United Concert Series” and the DMV Unity Tour. In addition to their musical craft and live stage shows, ALorious has produced six open mic shows, two local celebrity, All-star birthday bash’s and many signature genre based music shows throughout DC, MD and VA.

During a moment of silence in my spiritual fast, it finally all made sense. Life was starting to make sense after 28 years! You see I have always believed that everything happens for a reason, even when I really couldn't understand why. so you can image this moment when everything that has ever happened finally had a reason and it all made complete and perfect sense. It’s funny how this all starts to play out like a movie in my mind as I drive down the road. Every moment shedding light on it’s significant in my life! I had a feeling today was going to be good. I arose early to the sound of my blackberry alarm, next to someone who fills my spirit with joy despite it all! The sun was shining slightly through the window. Time to start my day.
