Description

This one’s personal as hell. Because emotional eating consumed me for YEARS. And no… It wasn’t just because I “loved food too much.” …Okay maybe a little bit 😅 But the food itself? That wasn’t really the problem. The 400lb version of me felt… Unloved.  Unwanted.  Inadequate. And I didn’t know how to deal with that shit. So every night… After everyone went to bed… I’d attack the fridge like a horny raccoon digging through garbage at 2am. Because for 10 minutes… Food shut my brain the fuck up.

EPISODE 226 BMI Says I'm Obese… What A Fucking Joke.

Today we're going to talk about one of the most misunderstood numbers in the entire health industry. BMI. Body Mass Index. And honestly... I think it's responsible for confusing millions of people. Now before anyone comes after me... I'm not saying BMI is completely useless. I'm saying people use it in situations it was never designed for. And that's where things go sideways. Because according to the BMI chart... I'm obese. Class One Obese. At 247 pounds. Now here's the funny part. If you walked into my gym today and somebody asked, "Who's the obese guy?" I don't think anyone would point at me. Not because I'm special. But because labels without context are dangerous as hell. And that's exactly what BMI has become. So let's talk about it.

Episode 224 The Story That's Keeping You Stuck

I want to start today with something that might piss you off. Smart people change their mind quickly. Everyone else... Defends their old bullshit like it pays their rent. Think about that for a second. Because I reckon every single one of us has done it. Including me. Especially me. We tell ourselves these little stories... "I'm not a morning person." "I'm just bad with money." "I've always struggled with my weight." "I'm terrible at consistency." "I don't have discipline." "I'm just an anxious person." "I'm not confident." And after you've repeated that story enough... It stops sounding like an opinion. It starts sounding like a fact. You stop questioning it. You build your entire life around it. And before you know it... You've built a prison... Out of your own fucking sentences.
