Queensland police have charged almost 50 people and seized drugs, weapons and cash in a major cocaine trafficking operation targeting Brisbane's entertainment precincts. The four-weekend operation across Fortitude Valley and James Street resulted in more than 90 separate offences, with police discovering tens of thousands of dollars worth of cocaine, $40,000 in cash, and drugs concealed in fake soft drink cans. Body-worn camera footage captured arrests showing clip-seal bags prepared for sale and large quantities of cash stored in locked containers.
