Little Beats LLC presents; "A Parent Life." "A Parent Life" initiative is to share stories and expert advice from parents and professionals around the country. The hope is that these stories and professional insights would encourage and enlighten existing and aspiring parents from all different backgrounds to define and implement healthy and loving parental relationships with their children. Children will also be sharing their advice in the episodes titled "The Little's Advice" so we can hear how children view "healthy love" between parents and children. Enjoy!

My guest for this episode is Dr. Cynthia Briggs, Psy.D., MT-BC, and Professor Emeritus in the Music Therapy Department at Maryville University. Her extensive experience with children inspired me to have her speak on parental relationships. She shares her expert advice for parents in maintaining those relationships from infancy to adolescence, and we identify some commonalities throughout each stage. She definitely shared some gems that can broaden one's perspective to think about what's really important. Take a listen and enjoy!
