Special Slice: Here For A Good Time, Not A Long Time

It's been a while, hasn't it? Let's catch up and let me tell you what's up as I ring in a new year and a new decade in my life. It's been a busy last couple of years, but I'm still here. This episode is dedicated to the people who continue to support me, my work and my antics no matter how much life is life-ing. I'm forever grateful and thankful to every single person and opportunity that's come my way. I hope this episode brings you a couple of slices of what l(a)ife has gone through since the end of Season 1. Who knows? Maybe this may be the start of brainstorming for Season 2. To a third decade. Ep. 11 - It's Been Awhile

It's Asian-American Pacific Heritage Month. (We believe that's how you say it. We hope that's correct.) Especially as someone who originally came from the west coast and started a new life on the east at the age of 17. How many times have your parents or family members forwarded you a chain letter or some news that you knew was completely fake? In these times where news and information spews out in all different directions, flooding our feeds, it becomes a major concern when our parents are sharing and spreading unconfirmed and unverified information. As a member of the tech-savvy generation, it is my duty (along with many others) to help our parents and others be well-informed with the right information and make sure we're not spreading any type of negativity within our communities. Lai invites listeners and followers to discuss what else bothers them during quarantine and also what do they miss.
