“Birthday Candles” is now lighting up the stage at Florida Studio Theatre. The play follows Earnestine from age 17 to 107, capturing a lifetime of moments that are heartfelt, funny, and deeply human. We’re joined by Kate Alexander, Director of Birthday Candles and FST’s Associate Director at-Large, along with Rachel Moulton, who stars as Earnestine and also serves as FST Associate Artist and Director of Education, to talk about bringing this remarkable story to life.
