Alleah Erica Hosts an Acu·Convo with Damian McCleod, LAc.

Damian McCleod is a licensed acupuncturist in New York and holds a Master of Science in Acupuncture from the Pacific College of Oriental Medicine (PCOM). Damian became acquainted with the actual practice of acupuncture following his second reconstructive knee surgery. He began getting acupuncture treatments at the college's clinic at the recommendation of a fellow martial artist and PCOM graduate. After witnessing firsthand the effectiveness of acupuncture, he committed himself to the practice of Chinese Medicine. His studies were heavily influenced by martial arts, which he has practiced since 1993. Damian is actively treating martial artists and other athletes for musculoskeletal conditions, emphasizing knee discomfort. His affiliations are with the Acupuncture Society of New York and the MAUSA Health & Fitness Center as an acupuncturist and self-defense instructor.
