Our fascination with the dead extends back thousands of years. This underworld in which we cannot see, this world we cannot be sure of, this world in which, if the ancients are to be believed, is where your soul is weighed against the feather, and a judgment is made on if the virtuous should pass on into heaven. The unfortunate souls head south, down the River Styx, and into the underworld where souls are lost forever… but, every so often, this world of flesh and blood is visited by those who have passed on… but not found their final resting place.
