episode The Portal Opened in Oaxaca artwork

The Portal Opened in Oaxaca

This episode is a transmission. A raw, unfiltered portal into what it feels like to be fully alive in the body, in love, in devotion, in rage, in truth. In this intimate share, I take you inside my recent journey through Oaxaca, from the quiet magic of a remote beach town, Mazunte, to the electric pulse of Puerto Escondido, where pleasure, connection, and creative energy moved through me in ways that felt deeply initiatory. You will hear real-time voice notes recorded in the midst of it all, where I speak from the heart of the experience rather than from hindsight, touching on love, partnership, freedom, sensuality, and the kind of spaces I feel called to create in this lifetime. This episode also moves through the contrast of nervous systems, the beauty and friction of friendship, and a powerful moment that stirred sacred rage and reminded me why this work matters. I close by sharing reflections on growth, leadership, and creative devotion as I step into a new season of building, refining, and tending to what is here. If you are craving more aliveness, more truth, more embodiment, and a deeper connection to your own inner knowing, this one is for you. This is a public episode. episode The Practice of Community artwork

The Practice of Community

Community is not always easy. It asks us to show up, even when we fall short, and to be honest about what we can and cannot hold. In this conversation with my Libra twin and bestie SC Baker, we get real about the challenges of being present across multiple communities. SC leads and participates in many initiatives in Austin, Texas, and works as Chief of Staff at What She Said, which gives her a front-row view of the joys and strains of supporting others while also keeping her own balance. I share my own experiences of community in Mexico, the lessons it has taught me about care, boundaries, and intimacy, and how culture shapes the way we connect and hold space for one another. We dive into the nuances between community, friendship, networks, and the broader, intertwined relationships that make life rich and complex. We talk about the messiness, the missteps, and the moments of repair that make these connections vital. We also explore what it means to hold a virtual community in today’s busy world, how it can bridge distance, and why it can be just as nourishing, present, and alive as in-person gatherings. By the end, you’ll see that community is less about perfection and more about showing up authentically, learning as you go, and creating spaces where people can belong and grow together. This episode also reflects our journey creating BALANCED, a six-week group program for women who want more alignment, creative flow, and connection in their lives. Imagine a space where your ambitions are supported, your creativity is nourished, and you are held in a community that truly sees you. If you feel stretched too thin, isolated in your goals, or craving connection that energizes rather than drains, BALANCED was designed for you. Through practices, conversations, and support structures, you’ll learn how to show up fully for your life without burning out. We begin in April, and spots are limited. Join the waitlist [https://ingridgarcia.myflodesk.com/balanced-waitlist] to be the first to know when enrollment opens. Whether you are looking to deepen your friendships, expand your community, or simply invite more ease and clarity into your days, this episode is for you. Listen in and consider how you might cultivate balance, presence, and devotion to the people and passions that matter most. episode 2025: A Year of Learning My Rhythm artwork

2025: A Year of Learning My Rhythm

I walked into 2025 with a strong declaration: I desire Expansion, with a capital E. I’m ready. Give it to me. Allow me to prove myself. And well, 2025 gave me that and more. In just January alone, Say and I pilgrimaged back home after a six-week European adventure that concluded in the beaches of Puerto Escondido, Oaxaca where we rang in the New Year with my family. We closed on our first-ever home and fully welcomed in a new puppy after being away, making us a family of four. I then journeyed to Denver, Colorado for a team retreat with What She Said, Inc [https://www.instagram.com/whatshesaidinc/] where I had a womb-awakening and commemorated the weekend by inking my body with a tattoo of fairy wings. I also declared 2025 to be the year of water for me. “Her majesty, a force cradling life and swallowing time,” I wrote as my Instagram caption [https://www.instagram.com/p/DEfmOTgphqW/?img_index=1]. Like water, the year revealed my own depths, shadows, and default patterning. I came back home to myself countless times… over and over like a silly girl who has yet to learn her lesson. What was mirrored back: * the sacrality of life (and death) * my grip on urgency decaying my creativity * the shedding of unaligned clients + projects * self-trust in cyclical movement * I am my own muse * being sure of my “no” I thank myself for reflecting and squeezing out the medicine of my own life experiences, and not only that, but I share the above Video Entry from the heart, vulnerably. Coming back to the microphone and back on camera is an act of authorship. A return to the arena of self expression. episode Casual Chit Chat: Reflections (& ATX Embodiment Circle Invite) artwork

Casual Chit Chat: Reflections (& ATX Embodiment Circle Invite)

I’m hoping to get more comfortable with sharing things that are more casual and imperfect, like this video. It’s exactly the kind of thing I’d send to my closest friends. So consider this a little FaceTime with me: raw, in the moment, unpolished, and straight from the heart. Side note: As I sit with this reflection, I’m realizing that simply showing up is enough. When you’re caught in the grip of your creative ego, it can strip away the rawness and vulnerability that creativity truly asks of you. But showing up, with no agenda and no need to produce, is a sacred practice in itself. It’s like arriving on your mat when you don’t feel like moving. You do it because it’s part of your becoming. So in the spirit of showing up as I am, here’s a little glimpse into what’s been alive for me lately: I dyed my hair, ATX memory lane (half marathons and cold plunging), wellness culture + what it typically abandons, and of course, Juan Gabriel’s Netflix docu-series that everybody needs to watch. episode When My Creativity Went Silent artwork

When My Creativity Went Silent

Lovely humans, thank you for tuning into today’s vulnerable share. I’m reflecting on my vicious burnout cycles where I uncomfortably spread myself too thin, ultimately experiencing extreme disembodiment from heavily operating in my masculine. In time, the return to my soma revealed itself as a pilgrimage of love and tender care, one I choose to walk each day, allowing my creative river to regenerate and flow ease-fully. I rest in deep gratitude to these seasons of exhaustion and over-extension because well, they led me to my current Body of Work: a beautiful weaving of somatic ritual, creative inquiry, and embodiment coaching into every thread of my Presence. You can experience it for yourself here [https://www.ingrid-garcia.com/creative-unfolding].
