E33 - What No One Trains You For: Anxiety & Identity Behind the Athlete (Part 1)
What's up, All You family? In this episode, I’m sitting down with my friend Jenna Doggett, MS, LAT, ATC. We talk through her athletic journey—from growing up immersed in sports to working as an athletic trainer—and how those experiences have shaped who she is today.
We get real about anxiety, especially how it shows up in high-achieving athletes and strong, independent women. Jenna opens up about her own experience as an athlete, navigating anxiety, marriage, and what it looks like to balance independence while still letting someone truly be your partner (more in part 2!).
This conversation dives into communication, self-awareness, and the push-pull of being a strong woman on your own while learning how to lean on someone else. It’s honest, reflective, and one that a lot of athletes—and women in general—will see themselves in.
Stay tuned for part 2! Much love xx
