I-94 Rivalry, #1 Badgers at #2 Buckeyes, in loaded weekend

In the inaugural edition of the Badger Breakaway podcast, Kedrick Stumbris is joined by WSUM and Big Ten Plus play-by-play voice of the Wisconsin Badgers, Joey Bonadonna. The duo discusses the recent games and previews upcoming matchups for the Wisconsin Badgers men’s basketball, women’s hockey, men’s hockey, and women’s basketball teams. First, Joey and Kedrick recap UW men’s basketball opening Big Ten conference play with a win over the Northwestern Wildcats. They analyze the show-stopping performance of John Blackwell, the importance of Andrew Rohde as a facilitator, and a change in head coach Greg Gard’s starting lineup. Ahead of Wisconsin renewing the I-94 rivalry with Marquette, the two share their thoughts on the Golden Eagles’ limited offensive success thus far. Second, it is top-ranked Wisconsin women’s hockey visiting the Ohio State Buckeyes.
