episode mind of christ. | Chris Lopez cover

Description

No mind = the mind of Christ. Bread/Feast conscience. Joseph and Potiphar. Jesus and You. From the time you let go. Whatever. Eyes of grace. YHWH Immo. God’s POWER on your normal. Convinced by grace to let go. God inhabits our crisis, our pain, our trauma. The blessing of God pools to the lowest places. The world saved by letting go, not control. From scarcity loops to abundance loops. The resurrection didn’t remove the holes in Jesus’ hands and feet. Jesus the giver/steward of life. Not knowing anything whatsoever. Smooth = flourish. The gift of no concern. Clothed by God. Walking Eden. The gift of success. Blessed for another’s sake. Humble service saves the world. Jesus the locus of favor.

How God's Wisdom Brings Justice, 1 Kings 3, Chris Lopez

In this message, we explore one of the most powerful statements in Scripture: "The wisdom of God was in him to administer justice." (1 Kings 3:28) When Solomon faced an impossible situation between two women claiming the same child, God gave him wisdom to reveal the truth and establish justice. But Solomon points us to someone greater. Jesus Christ is the Wisdom of God (1 Corinthians 1:24). He is not distant wisdom reserved for scholars, philosophers, or religious elites. He is God's wisdom made available to every person. In a world filled with confusion, division, corruption, and competing voices, the Church desperately needs the wisdom of Christ. In this sermon, we'll explore: The wisdom of God in Solomon's judgment The sword and the Word of God How divine wisdom exposes truth Jesus as the Wisdom of God Why the Church must recover God's wisdom today How wisdom leads to justice in families, churches, ministries, and society Scriptures Covered: 1 Kings 3:16-28 1 Kings 3:28 James 3:17 Hebrews 4:12 1 Corinthians 1:24 1 Corinthians 1:30 Matthew 12:42 Colossians 2:3 Isaiah 11:2-4

What it Means to be a New Creation | Brett Overesch

What does it really mean to have your identity in Christ? So many of us live stuck between who we’ve been and who we’re trying to become—striving, fixing, improving. But the gospel tells a different story. You’re not becoming new. You’ve already been made new. In this message, we unpack what it means to be a new creation in Christ, to stand in righteousness that isn’t earned, and to live from an identity that’s already been given—not achieved. This isn’t about behavior modification. It’s about transformation that’s already finished. If you’ve struggled with shame, insecurity, or feeling like you’re never “enough,” this message will re-center you in what Jesus has already done. You don’t work for identity. You receive it.
