We want to end the stigma associated with mental health especially in the South Asian community through education. By highlighting facts about mental illness, we want to fight against the biases and prejudices that prevail in our communities and create safe space in our homes, our cultures, and our communities where anyone can talk about mental illness without fear and expect to be heard and supported.

As a part of our initiative, we wanted to hear from teenagers. Our teen founding member Reeti asked her fellow teenagers - “What are your questions about teen mental health?” and “What would you like your parents to know regarding teen mental health?” In this second episode on Teen Mental Health, Reeti and Pranav are asking these questions to our mental health experts Dr. Umrania and Dr. Kaur. They will also share what teenagers wanted their parents to know about the mental health. Our hope is that this episode is helpful to both teenagers and parents.
