Description

This week we have a short episode where I review Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry and Funny Story by Emily Henry. I also talk about some books I'm currently reading; Queen of Faces by Petra Lord, The Women by Kristin Hannah a historical fiction about women who were involved in the Vietnam war, Tia Williams Audre & Bash Are Just Friends, A Witch's Guide to Magical Innkeeping by Sangu Mandanna, The God of the Woods by Liz Moore, and Everything is Tuberculosis by John Green. Additionally, I'm moving the podcast to a monthly cadence for full episodes and am hoping to splice in some mini-sodes/author content in between! Thanks for listening! Britt

Season 1 Episode 9 March Reads

This week on Britt's Book Binge, I'm telling you about two books that I finished reading at the tail end of March; Women of a Promiscuous Nature by Donna Tart and Seven Days in June by Tia Williams. Women of a Promiscuous Nature is a Historical Fiction and Seven Days in June is a Nonfiction Romance with a chronic pain main character, Eva who is an erotic fiction author and single mom with chronic migraines. I read it as part of a chronic illness/chronic pain book club that I'm in. I also talk about books I'm reading right now; Book 4 in the Archie Sheridan and Gretchen Lowell series by Chelsea Cain, Queen of Faces by Petra Lord, The God of the Woods by Liz Moore, and Great Big Beautiful Life by Emily Henry. Thanks for listening and chat at you next week, refreshed from a girls glamping trip for my friend Lindsey's birthday, and with a renewed sense of purpose, and hopefully a book or two under my belt.
