Business is Bullshit
LinkedIn used to be a place where people posted bad business takes. Now they post bad business takes written by AI. In this episode of Business Is Bullshit, James, Jared and Jon go after AI slop: the generic, soulless, copy-pasted content that's taken over LinkedIn and the internet at large. The argument isn't "AI bad." It's more specific than that. AI can help you clean up your thinking. It can help you move faster. It can even help you write better if your ideas, voice, and perspective are still driving the bus. But when you ask AI what to think, what to say, and how to say it, you don't have content. You have slop. The guys talk about why LinkedIn has become a sales pitch platform, why so much AI writing sounds identical, why "best practices" kill differentiation, how Sports Illustrated destroyed trust with fake AI writers, and why the future belongs to people who still sound like actual people. AI can be a tool. But outsourcing your brain is bullsh*t.
