While the current line up of Disney live action films may, or may not be, my favorite films - there are a lot of Disney live action films from my childhood that are still in heavy rotation in my view queue. And some of these were made over seas for some very intereesting reasons! This week we bring back our good friend Brian Crawford to talk about an incredibly fascinating time in the Disney company's history! Walt had money trapped in England after WWII and in order to make good use of it he headed overseas and made a few Disney classics! And Brian Crawford is my favorite resource for going back in time to fondly remember why I do all this crazy Disney stuff! Not to mention he’s a heck of a nice guy! Walt seemed to love making them, at least he certainly loved introducing them, and he brought them to us either in the theater or each Sunday night in whole or in part as serials!
