episode Russia Ukraine War - Current Events cover

Description

In today’s episode we will be discussing the current picture of the Russia-Ukraine War along with its future prospects, including how it will affect other countries’ diplomatic relations. Stan Shunpike, our guest for this episode, is an independent foreign relations analyst who predicted the invasion three days before it occurred. Given the intensity of the war, the situation on the ground has been rapidly changing, and the territories controlled by the two sides have often changed substantially. Before February 24th, Ukraine controlled the territory that it claimed with the following exceptions: Crimea was totally controlled by Russia, while parts of the Donbass were controlled by separatist organizations called the Donetsk People’s Republic (known for short as the DPR) and the Lugansk people’s republic (LPR for short), both closely allied with Russia.
