Stefan is from Trinidad and Tobago. He left Trinidad to attend UNB on a swim scholarship. She was born and raised in the Bahamas, where she attended C.R. Walker High School and then the College of the Bahamas (now University of the Bahamas). She is a recipient of the All Bahamas Merit Award from the Bahamas’ Ministry of Education. On top of a demanding degree, this future doctor is currently President of  Dal’s Caribbean Connection, a dancer, a dance instructor and works part-time at the university clinic.
