Previously, the Ambassador had been sent to sort out a treaty problem. Things didn't go well.  In this episode, the Ambassador tells Kell they are leaving, but first she is going get dressed and go to meet with the Pelscaran Council. She goes back to her room, calls President Smbarak, and remembers a special gift from her teacher, Master Tai. After the meeting, the Ambassador and Kell return to Dagon and board the Magellan to go out for what the Ambassador says are consultations.
