Coalition Corner Season 2, Episode 4: Growing Up in a Sexualised Caribbean Culture

There’s no doubt that young people across the Caribbean face unique challenges when it comes to sexual and reproductive health. While they grow up in societies where sex is often openly discussed in music, media, and everyday life, access to comprehensive, factual, and judgment-free sexual and reproductive health education remains limited. So how do young people navigate these issues? We're exploring that and more in this episode of the CVC Coalition Corner podcast. Coalition Corner Season 2, Episode 3: Arts, Culture and Advocacy

Across the Caribbean, arts and culture have become powerful tools for advocacy, education, and social change. Through theatre, music, spoken word, and visual storytelling, edutainment-based initiatives are breaking down stigma, sparking conversations, and empowering people affected by HIV. In this episode of the Coalition Corner podcast we’re exploring how the arts have been instrumental in HIV advocacy, the impact of these cultural initiatives, and what more can be done to integrate creativity into the regional HIV response and human rights movement.
