COVENANT KIDS S2 EP20: Be Strong and Courageous- Joshua, Jericho and Trusting God (May 18-24) Joshua 1-24

Spencer, an eight-year-old who loves sports and Harry Potter, talks about how scriptures help him know Jesus Christ lives and shares a favorite story about Alma and Amulek. Together they study Joshua leading Israel after Moses, focusing on the Lord’s command to “be strong and courageous.” They discuss crossing the Jordan River when the priests carrying the Ark of the Covenant stepped into the water and the river stopped, connecting it to baptism and the promises we make. They cover Jericho, the spies, Rahab protecting them with a red rope, and God’s unusual plan to march, blow horns, and shout until the walls fell. Spencer shares a miracle of fasting and prayer for his sick brother and explains choosing to serve the Lord through prayer, fasting, sacraments, and commandments.

COVENANT KIDS; S2 EP 19: Do Not Forget Jesus' Words & Miracles (May 11-17) Deuteronomy 6-34

In this episode, Leo (8) shares what he loves about golf and how it teaches him not to quit, tells a joke, and talks about loving the scriptures—especially the story of Noah. Together, they discuss how reading scriptures, praying, going to church, and serving others help build a relationship with Jesus Christ, including how Leo’s brother is teaching people about Jesus in San Antonio, Texas. The lesson focuses on Deuteronomy as Moses reviews God’s laws and reminds Israel to remember the Lord’s words throughout daily life. A “Heart Treasure Keeper” activity helps kids store Christ’s words in their hearts. Leo also shares his baptism experience, the promises he made, and how the Holy Ghost has helped him with school tests, ending with his testimony of Jesus Christ.

COVENANT KIDS S2 EP18: Be thankful and don't complain (May 4-10) Numbers 11-27

Host Lisa interviews six-year-old Mark about prayer, scriptures, and choosing gratitude over complaining while exploring Old Testament stories of Moses and the Israelites in the desert. They discuss how the Israelites grumbled despite daily manna, demanded meat, and received quail, using a “Grumble or Gratitude” game and a short jumping-jack break to teach a better attitude and remembering blessings through prayer and writing them down. The episode also covers Moses receiving help, Miriam and Aaron speaking against him, and the story of Balaam, who is tempted by rewards but learns to obey God when Jesus makes his donkey speak and reveals an angel blocking the way, leading Balaam to bless Israel instead of curse them. COVENANT KIDS S2 EP 17: Building the Tabernacle (Apr 27-May 3) Exodus 35-40; Leviticus 1-19

Nicholette (age 9) joins Covenant Kids to share her love for the scriptures, how reading brings her peace, and why Nephi building a boat helps her trust that Jesus can help us do hard things. The episode teaches how Moses and the Israelites built the tabernacle—a portable temple—through sacrifice, offerings, and everyone contributing materials, skills, and time. The host connects this to temple building today through tithing and shares a childhood experience helping raise funds for the Jordan River Temple. Nicholette identifies her gifts (testimony and drawing) and ways to serve others, describes holy places like temples, homes, churches, and nature, and shares baptism memories, guidance from the Holy Ghost, and a prayer answered in an unexpected way. The episode ends with encouragement to follow Jesus Christ through prayer, scriptures, service, and repentance.

COVENANT KIDS S2 EP 16: Jesus gives the Ten Commandments (April 20-26) Exodus 19-34

The host Lisa, interviews nine-year-old James about Moses receiving the 10 Commandments in Exodus and how commandments connect us to Jesus Christ and bless us with peace, happiness, safety, protection, and guidance. James shares his testimony of the scriptures and Jesus Christ, a miracle in his family after a priesthood blessing, and thoughts on how words can be written on metal and stone, including that the commandments were written by the finger of God. Together they learn kid-friendly actions and a chant to remember all ten commandments, and focus on honoring parents through an “Honor or not” game and honoring the Sabbath as a way to recharge spiritually. They also cover Israel’s impatience and the golden calf, then write “The commandments bless my life” on a rock and close with James’s testimony.
