Today we take a dive into the different cultures throughout America and how it is being Punjabi in some places. The slap is heard around the world, what would you do if you were in Will Smith's situation? Has the Punjabi music industry lost its tradition with the new generation of rappers such as AP Dhillon, Straight Banks, Fateh. We take a look at why NAV does not fully embrace the Punjabi culture as someone would definitely like him to do so. We also touch on why most individuals victimize themselves instead of taking full accountability for their actions.

The Craves Show - Manpreet Kaur

Today we had the privilege of having a very special guest on the podcast.  Manpreet Kaur is running for election to the Bakersfield City Council to represent Ward 7 in Bakersfield California. Manpreet was born and raised in Bakersfield, CA together we all attended Ridgeview High School in Bakersfield, CA. We talk about the importance of culture, representation, education, and being able to inspire and help the future generation.  Although Manpreet's journey as City Council Member has brought so many people together she has faced some slight adversity that she has been able to overcome to hopefully be able to soon represent Ward 7 in Bakersfield, CA. Manpreet also discussed what the future of Ward 7 looks like and the changes she hopes to initiate to better serve her community.
