1 - Needing Others (Preview)

MEDITATION In the body, needing others is not a sign of weakness, but a principle of wisdom.  Because no man is self-sufficient, we have been gifted diversely, for the purpose of mutual benefit.  You must identify what you have and don't have. If God has not given you something, enjoy it in those to whom he has given it. Pride makes you think what you have is better than what others have, then you shortchange yourself.  Wisdom means I benefit from what you have, you from what I have and we both become better together.  PROMPT FOR REFLECTION What makes you hesitate to ask for help? What is the worst that can happen if you do? What is the best thing that can happen if you do? Take some time to meditate on these questions ANECDOTE Want to have good friends? Make them.
