IDENTITY IN CHRIST

In this episode, we discuss how the world pushes us to find identity in success, approval, appearance, relationships, achievements, or even our past pain and failures. None of those things truly satisfy. Many people begin to define themselves by labels like addiction, abuse, rejection, shame, or accomplishments, yet those things were never meant to determine our worth. Through Jesus Christ, believers are given a new identity rooted not in the opinions of others, but in God’s truth. Looking at the book of Ephesians, we are reminded that in Christ we are chosen, redeemed, forgiven, adopted into God’s family, saved by grace, and created with purpose. This episode encourages listeners to stop searching for identity in temporary things and instead rest in the unchanging truth that our identity is found in Christ alone, not in our past, our struggles, or the standards of the world. This episode explores how believers can remain anchored in God’s promises instead of being controlled by temporary circumstances. Together, we reflect on the strength and comfort the Holy Spirit provides as we navigate trials, disappointments, and seasons of waiting. This conversation is a reminder that our present struggles are not the end of the story. Through Christ, we are promised an eternal glory far greater than any hardship we experience now. When our focus shifts from what is seen to what is eternal, faith grows stronger, hope becomes steadier, and our hearts are renewed with courage to keep moving forward. WHO IS JESUS

He is the Light in darkness, the Good Shepherd who leads and cares for His people, and the Way, the Truth, and the Life who invites us into a restored relationship with God. From surviving a 26-week premature birth to growing up in chaos, neglect, and instability, this episode shares a powerful journey through trauma, rejection, and deep brokenness. Battling depression, suicidal thoughts, and years of addiction, I searched for worth in everything the world had to offer only to find myself more lost than ever. But in my lowest place, God met me. This is a story of redemption, healing, and complete transformation, how Jesus pulled me out of darkness, broke the chains of addiction, restored my identity, and gave me purpose.
