episode The 1619 Project: Origins cover

Description

Our first book is the 1619 Project, created by Nikole Hannah-Jones and the New York Times. This project/book has been at the center of controversy since its publication due to those who would see African/Black history erased from memory. 1. that will NEVER happen and 2. It is important for the next generations to have knowledge of all history if they are truly to progress our societies and make the world a better place. There is no American history without African and Black history, that is a fact. Racial injustice is a foundation, and still a major part of our society, that is a fact. This episode is the reading of the Preface: Origins, written by NHJ If you are listening, I encourage you to follow along in your own copy (and SUPPORT the authors/project) - get your copy here -> https://1619books.com/ Feel free to follow and engage with me!
