About Desert Politics

Desert Politics was a weekly radio program that aired Saturdays afternoons on 1480AM KPHX or 1190AM KNUV, focusing on local political happenings in Maricopa County and the State of Arizona. The show, which ran for three years, had a reputation for thoughtful and provocative questioning, knowledgeable guests without the hype of normal talk radio programs. Desert Politics aired on AM1480 KPHX between November 2006 to December 2008 and on AM1190 KNUV from January through February 2009. It went off the air due to the bankruptcy of the Nova M Radio network.
