🌞 So what’s a Healthy Vitamin D Level? If your vitamin D is below 50 nmol/L (20 ng/mL), it’s too low. 50 nmol/L and above is usually enough for healthy bones. If you’re over 65 or have osteoporosis / chronic illness, aim higher — around 75–125 nmol/L.
People with kidney, liver, gut, or autoimmune conditions should also stay above 50 nmol/L. And if you have prediabetes or blood sugar problems, a slightly higher level may help protect you even more.
