Stephen Joost co-founded Firehouse Subs in 1994 and successfully expanded it from a single Jacksonville location to over 1,000 locations nationwide. His leadership extended beyond business, serving eight years on the Jacksonville City Council, including two years as president. Currently, Stephen is franchising Yoga-Den and is a part-owner of Caps on the Water. Referencing his experience in building a billion-dollar brand, Stephen offers invaluable entrepreneurial insights and shares the lessons he learned along the way!

#3 - Ed Malin

A Jacksonville area native and owner of the beloved Angie’s subs, Ed Malin has seen about everything Jax has to offer. Recounting back to his time in the first-ever graduating class at Nease high school, he offers insight to the dramatic change Jacksonville has seen over the years. Ed has also been very involved in the community by not only being a friendly business owner, but also running for Congress and starting a nonprofit for breast cancer. Kevin “Slick” Wenger is a former Air Force Lieutenant Colonel who served for 21 years. He most recently flew F-15s for the Florida Air National Guard (FANG) division out of Jacksonville for 9 years. He recounts stories from the air including his training experiences and intercepting Russian jets. Conor Blount is a quarterback who played Division-1 football at Oregon State. He owns and operates D1 Jax, an elite training and performance facility. Conor also plays quarterback for the Jacksonville Sharks, Duval's very own IFL team. He touches on the topics of what makes a great athlete, the hardships he faced in his personal athletic journey, and what makes Jacksonville a great place for youth athletics.
