Following the Father

In the next addition to our "Ears to Hear" sermon series, Pastor Nathan explores John 5, where Jesus shows us how to follow the Father's lead. This following can only happen when we are rooted in Phiilia—an everyday friendship with God characterized by intentionality rather than intensity. Hearing Wisdom

Pastor Nathan continues our current series by exploring the first half of Proverbs 8, where wisdom is vividly personified as a woman calling out to all of humankind from the city gates. The Creatively Destructive Voice of God

Continuing in the sermon series "Ears to Hear,"  Pastor Nathan explores the striking imagery of Psalm 29. He challenges us to move beyond a downsized and domesticated view of God, who only offers compassion without conviction.  Nathan emphasizes that truly hearing God requires a "posture of openness" to however He chooses to show up, even when His voice sounds like thunder and shakes the conceptual boxes we place Him in.
