Ep.21 - Fighting to Keep Living: Amy’s Story

This episode is an incredibly powerful and emotional conversation - I’m joined by Amy, a mum, wife, physio, and someone living with Stage 4 cancer. Amy shares her journey from the moment she first realised something wasn’t right, through diagnosis, treatment, recovery, and the unimaginable experience of cancer returning. She talks honestly about chemotherapy, mastectomies, losing her hair, and moments where things felt almost impossible. We also explore the reality of living with recurrence, new treatments, brain surgery, the mental and emotional impact this journey has had on her and her family, and the ongoing fight to keep living for the people she loves most. Amy shares the lessons she’s learned about life, resilience and what truly matters. Her story is a reminder of how precious life is, and how courage can take many forms.
