Description

Tithe to keep the mission moving here 🔋: https://edenchurchnj.churchcenter.com/giving/to/ministry-fund  What does it actually mean to know your calling? A lot of us are trying to figure out God’s will for our lives, find our purpose, choose the right career, make the right decision, and hear God’s voice without feeling like one wrong move will ruin everything. But what if calling was never meant to feel that fragile? In this message, Pastor Brandon Cobb reframes Christian calling through Scripture and shows why your purpose is deeper than a job title, relationship status, major, platform, or dream opportunity. If you’ve been dealing with career anxiety, feeling stuck in life, praying about your next step, or wondering how to make decisions with God, this sermon will help you move with clarity, faith, and freedom — not from pressure to prove yourself, but from the identity Jesus has already given you. Tighten Up! | Galatians 1:6-10 | Pastor Brandon Cobb | Eden Church NJ | 07.19.2026

Ever feel like your faith is technically working, but you can't seem to gain any real momentum? You show up. You believe the right things. You're not falling apart — but you're not climbing anywhere either. Something's just... loose. In this message from our Galatians series, we dig into a moment where Paul doesn't ease into correction — he comes in hot. Not because the church rejected the gospel outright, but because something far more subtle had crept in. Something that still looked like faith. Still sounded like faith. Just wasn't carrying any power anymore. In this episode, we explore:   + Why the most dangerous spiritual drift rarely looks like rejection — it looks like improvement + How to know when you're quietly performing for people instead of living for God + The difference between having opinions about a mission and actually carrying one out + What it means to stop auditioning for approval and start walking in freedom Whether you're new to faith, returning to church after time away, or just tired of going through the motions — this conversation is about identifying what's come loose, and what it takes to tighten back up. 🛖 Roof Crashers | Mark 2:1-12 | Pastor Jay Stovall

What do you do when the struggle in your soul needs more than another distraction, quick fix, or piece of advice? In this message at Eden Church NJ, guest speaker Jay Stovall, Founding Pastor of Portrait Church in Redlands, California, opens Mark 2:1–12 and explores what it means to bring the deepest parts of our lives to Jesus. Through honest stories about fatherhood, chronic health challenges, leadership, and faith, Jay asks a deeply practical question: Are we looking to the right source for healing, forgiveness, and restoration? This Bible teaching speaks to anyone navigating pain, spiritual exhaustion, leadership wounds, or the pressure to keep pretending everything is fine. You’ll hear a grounded conversation about becoming a “wounded healer,” finding the right specialist for the soul, and living a Christian faith that moves beyond hearing truth into actually doing something with it. Whether you have followed Jesus for years, are returning to church, or are still figuring out what you believe, this message offers an honest look at Jesus, spiritual healing, biblical leadership, Christian community, and faith in difficult seasons. 🛟 This is a rescue mission | Galatians 1:1-5 | Eden Church NJ

Tithe to keep the mission moving here 🔋: https://edenchurchnj.churchcenter.com/giving/to/ministry-fund What does it mean to follow Jesus when so many voices are competing for your attention? In this opening message from Eden Church’s sermon series through Galatians, Pastor B begins with Galatians 1:1–5 and explores why Paul opens this letter with urgency, authority, and a deep concern for the gospel of grace. Galatians was written to churches being pulled away from the freedom of Christ, and this message invites us to consider how easily believers today can be shaped by culture, confusion, religious pressure, and misplaced trust. This sermon, “This Is a Rescue Mission,” looks at the difference between temporary relief and true rescue, the importance of spiritual authority, and the freedom Jesus gives through His death and resurrection. Whether you are new to Christianity, returning to faith, preparing for baptism, or trying to discern which voices deserve your trust, this message will help you see why the gospel is not merely advice to improve your life, but the good news that Jesus gave Himself to rescue us. 🔌 There is Power in the name of Jesus | Rev. Dr. Michael Carrion

Tithe to keep the mission moving here 🔋: https://edenchurchnj.churchcenter.com/giving/to/ministry-fund What does it mean for the Church to truly be one in the name of Jesus? In this powerful message from Rev. Dr. Michael Carrion of Promised Land Covenant Church and Redeemer City to City, we are brought back to the prayer of Jesus in John 17 — that His people would be united, not around preference, background, culture, or comfort, but around His name, His mission, and His kingdom. This sermon is a call to remember who Jesus is: the Messiah who identifies with the broken, restores what feels dead, and brings people from every tribe, tongue, and story into one family. Through testimony, Scripture, and a prophetic challenge to the Church, Dr. Carrion reminds us that unity is not a nice idea — it is the evidence of the gospel at work. Jesus still rescues. Jesus still restores. Jesus still manifests His power in families, communities, and places that need resurrection. Watch and be reminded: there is power in the name of Jesus, and His Church is called to move as one. episode LGBT+ Statement | Eden Church NJ | Pastor Brandon Cobb artwork

LGBT+ Statement | Eden Church NJ | Pastor Brandon Cobb

Tithe to keep the mission moving here 🔋: https://edenchurchnj.churchcenter.com/giving/to/ministry-fund What does Eden Church believe about sexuality, identity, and LGBT+ questions? As Pride Celebrations happen in Asbury Park and Pride Flags get raised in Hackensack and Jersey City, this conversation has come up frequently. In this statement, Pastor Brandon Cobb and Eden Church seek to respond with both conviction and compassion: we believe every person is made in the image of God, every person is worthy of dignity and care, and every person is invited to Jesus. At the same time, we believe Scripture is the final authority for our lives, not culture, desire, pressure, or personal opinion. Our aim is not to win an argument, but to tell the truth in love and make clear how Eden seeks to welcome everyone God loves without affirming everything people believe. This conversation matters because real people are not issues, labels, or debates. They are sons and daughters, friends and neighbors, people carrying stories, wounds, questions, and hopes. Eden’s LGBT+ statement explains our biblical convictions around marriage, sexuality, sin, grace, repentance, belonging, and the gospel of Jesus Christ. We believe Jesus does not meet us with cold distance or careless approval. He meets us with mercy, clarity, and power — washing, sanctifying, and justifying sinners by His Spirit. Our prayer is that this statement helps build trust, bring clarity, and invite every person into the hope and holiness found in Christ.
