As Pride Celebrations happen in Asbury Park and Pride Flags get raised in Hackensack and Jersey City, this conversation has come up frequently. In this statement, Pastor Brandon Cobb and Eden Church seek to respond with both conviction and compassion: we believe every person is made in the image of God, every person is worthy of dignity and care, and every person is invited to Jesus. At the same time, we believe Scripture is the final authority for our lives, not culture, desire, pressure, or personal opinion.
