Tips for Flying While Fat

Flying is such a nightmare these days - for all people, actually. But, let me tell you... when you are a person of size at the airport or getting on to an airplane you have never seen so much eye rolling, side eye and so much sighing from the people aroud you.  I know some people will say I am exagerrating. I am not. In fact, if anytihng, it is probably 100 times worse since I am a seasoned fat person and I have a thick skin from years and years of being in a fat body. I highly recommend a great group on Facebook called "Flying While Fat" that was created by Stacy Bias.  Please also google her "Flying While Fat" documentary. But, this podcast is meant to give you true and actionable tips for flying while fat. Just to qualify things - I am visibly fat. I am 57" tall. I wear a size 24. 26. 28  pant if you know women's clothing sizes. My butt is WAY bigger then 17" wide. (Most airline seats are 17" wide, FYI.)  And here is a blog I wrote about "Flying While Fat."
