Record Setting Fishing

Today’s podcast is with Barry Osborn to talk about fishing for world records. Barry is a Wildlife and Fisheries Biologist and the author of The Art of Fishing for Records. He has documented over 500 fishing records and awards for over 70 species of fish, including over 140 World Records from multiple organizations. With 127 Texas State Records, he has accumulated more Texas State Records than anyone in history. Barry was the leading IGFA All-tackle Length Fly angler in 2021 and 2023. Recently Barry became the 4th angler in history to document an IGFA Royal Bass Slam with a flyrod.
